“Toby LOVES daycare at Kira’s! He is always so happy to go to her house in the morning and comes back tired. We really love and appreciate the photos of Toby that Kira puts in the Rover card and Kira always leaves a lovely note about Toby’s day like if he went to the school bus stop to pick up her son, if he had playmates during the day, or even if he guarded the door while she showered! It’s clear that Kira loves, cares, and understands dogs; for example, if her dog Jazz is still eating when Toby arrives, Toby gets a little bit of food too. We can tell from the photos and when we pick him up that Toby has the best time with Jazz, Kira, her son and husband.”

About: I have been a playful, loving, and responsible friend to pets since I got my first puppy in high school. Since then I have been trusted by friends, neighbors, and professors to take care of their pets and homes-- a gift I don't take for granted. I even became my undergraduate department's official dogsitter! I have a lot of experience with young puppies as well as senior and terminally ill dogs. I'm currently extremely flexible as I left my full-time job to focus on finishing my dissertation. I can work from any location and can be open most days. I live in an apartment on the ground floor with an open patio surrounded by grass, there is a park and an extremely walkable neighborhood next door. My last two dogs loved the area.

“We had a great experience leaving our 7-month-old golden/lab mix Mochi with Avigail! Avigail was super responsive from the beginning and was able to squeeze us into her schedule on a short notice (contacted on Wed. for daycare on Fri.). We did a meet & greet so our dog could meet her and her kids and we met the whole family — everyone was super nice! After meeting them we felt comfortable leaving Mochi with her and her family. Avigail sent us photos throughout the day and I could tell Mochi was having a lot of fun. When we picked her up, she didn’t even want to leave and cried a bit in the car haha showed how much fun she had! We’ll definitely be coming back!”

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I am passionate about dog walking and sitting and am looking forward to working with your cuddly pet! I work from home full time and am able to take adequate care of your fur babies and give them my undivided attention with lots of cuddles and walks. I am fully aware on the safety requirements regarding pets and I can look out for the warning signs of a dog who is under stress. My home is safe and I have all day to take long walks with them!
