About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and got a husky mix puppy last year who just turned one. I work from home full time and have a backyard the size of a dog park that is fenced in and available for dogs to just dog out. My dog is extremely friendly and loves making new friends. All are welcome! I work from home full time so will be under constant supervision and will be taken on 1-3 walks a day depending on my meetings and the dogs overall energy levels. They will have access to the backyard at all times and are allowed on any of the furniture. If okay they will be spoiled with treats but also if they need any medications or diet restrictions I will make sure those rules are followed! I’m very active so go on walks or runs often and have so many toys for them in the backyard.
6. Logan B.
“Logan is 100% an animal lover. She has spent years working with the animal rescue league and now is a proud parent of 2 adorable dogs. She makes sure she brings them EVERYWHERE she goes and always has what she needs to properly care for them. Great dog mom and great dogs!!!”
7. Monika W.
“Including the meet and greet, Melody has been at Monika’s three times. Each time has been a great experience. Leaving my fur baby in a loving and caring home where she is treated like family is important to me. Monika’s fenced in backyard makes it extra special for Melody who likes to roam around outside and explore. Whether you are new to Rover or not, I highly recommend Monika! There is nothing better than knowing your fur baby is being taken care of in a loving home by someone so caring and understanding of dogs.”
8. Tisha S.
“Tisha did a fantastic job caring for our high energy puppy! We were so happy to pick up a very content, and very sleepy, puppy each evening. We would highly recommend her!”
9. Ava C.
“Ava was great and kind enough to watch our dog at last minute. I appreciate the flexibility since our life can be a little chaotic. Paisley seemed to be comfortable there and everything went smoothly.”
10. Matthew M.
“I contacted Matthew at the last moment and asked him if he could take care of my GSD today? He quickly answered back and accepted my request. Matthew has a nice fenced in yard and my dog loved being able to enjoy being outside. Matthew gave special care to Karma being a senior dog, with hip problems. He walked, fed and gave medication as per request. Outstanding Care Giver. Highly Recommend Matthew and will use again, when I'm in Greenville. Thank you for taking excellent of my GSD.”
11. Caitie C.
About: I've taken care of dogs since college, when I became an in-house dog sitter for professors over breaks and holidays. I was referred to other local dog owners through professors and colleagues and stayed busy with dogsitting for years. I do have experience with older dogs with medications and recent surgeries as well as untrained dogs. I am new(ish) to the Wilmington area and am excited to keep meeting cute doggos through Rover! Cats are cool too :) I work full time M-F from about 8am-4pm. I can potentially use my lunch break to go let the dog(s) have a midday pee break as long as it’s not too far away. We live in a house with an unfenced backyard, right next to a great park and beautiful, quiet walkable neighborhood in general. I loooove going on long walks if the dog is up for that. Depending on what you’re comfortable with, I’m also open to going to parks & exploring new areas to sniff 😂
12. Naomi D.
“Naomi has taken care of my dog Leo many times. I trust her wholeheartedly to take the best care of him while I am away. She always takes into consideration my overprotective concerns without question. She sends pictures and keeps me updated. She’s always been flexible with drop off and pick up times as well. I hope she will continue to watch him while I’m away, Leo truly enjoys the time with her! :)”
13. Roxane S.
“Roxane took out my two medium breed dogs. One of them loves squirrels and can get excited. She was able to take them both out without issue. Not only did she care well for the dogs, but I felt safe with her being in my home. She’s honest, trustworthy, prompt, and attentive. I’m so thankful I have her to call on if I need help in the future. 10/10!!!”
14. Claire H.
“Claire watched my 3.5 year old golden retriever at my home while I was out of town one weekend and I had complete peace of mind that my baby was being taken well cared for. My dog absolutely loves Claire and she does a great job making sure she gets taken outside often and goes on walks. I would put Claire at the top of my list to watch my dog again!”
15. Rhianna H.
“Rhianna watched after our two cats over a 5 day weekend and did such a great job. She kept in touch with us if she had a question or concern and we really appreciated her caring approach. She even offered to buy extra food so we wouldn’t have to run out once home. We felt our pets were in great hands and hope Rhianna will be available for our next trip away!”
16. Patrice B.
“I’m originally from New York so whenever I go home to visit family, Patty watches my two cats for me. She does their litter boxes and feeds them their wet and dry food twice a day and hangs out with them. She is the most trustworthy person I know and there is no one else I’d want watching my babies but her!”
17. Carissa M.
“Carissa took great care of my pup! Sasha was able to play with Carissa’s sweet dogs all day while I was at work :)”
18. Kyle T.
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life. I've taken care of small, large, young, and old dogs in my household and will treat yours as my own. All dogs deserve love and care. I'm here when you're away. I love spending time around animals. I currently do not have a puppy and so this is also a way for me to spend time with doggos until I have one of my own :) It's important for dogs as well as their owners to trust the care that is being provided. Providing a safe and enjoyable experience is a top priority.
19. Maggie H.
“Maggie is very dependable and trustworthy! She will care for your dogs as if they were her own. I highly recommend her for all of your dog sitting and walking needs! She's the best!”
20. Taylor S.
“Taylor overnight sits for our 2 rescues, both large breeds American Bulldog and Terrier Mix. She is trustworthy and even shares her location so we know she is home with them. When she comes over they both run to her and show her so much affection we know she is taking good care of them. She has taken them to the Vet for me when I have had to work and the office called asking for her because they thought the dogs were hers. I will certainly miss having her in South Florida but would even be willing to fly her in for any major dog sitting we may need. If you love your dogs like I do; Taylor is the answer when you can't be there.”
