I work full time as a dog groomer and own my own grooming shop in Rotterdam NY. I am away from the house Tuesday- saturday from 8-2. I have crates and few separate areas in the house to put dogs while I’m away a work. I have a large yard and a fenced in kennel. I have a large kennel area under my house and can rotate dogs in and out so no one gets over whelmed, I do allow dogs to interact with our dogs and other boarders after a short introduction i allow them to roam the house and socialize. If I am not at the house all dogs will be separated for safety. i also have experienced with birds and other small animals and reptiles.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my lifelong love and hands-on experience with dogs. From growing up with furry companions to caring for my own puppy, I've always had a special bond with these furry family members. My reliability and responsibility were evident from a young age when my mom trusted me to handle every aspect of our dog's well-being, from daycare pickups to vet visits and daily walks. This personal connection, combined with my nurturing nature, makes me the perfect choice for pet owners seeking a caring and dedicated sitter. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. Each morning, I start my own day with feeding and playtime for my own puppy. Daily walks are a must, and I make time for grooming, training, and any specific needs he may have. My puppy's happiness and health are at the forefront of my daily schedule, and I'm committed to providing the same level of care to the pets I sit for, ensuring their comfort and happiness throughout the day. I provide a loving home environment for your pet, offering companionship with my own dog, plenty of toys, and easy access to walks and a nearby dog park.

17. Alexis B.
About: I have cared for my family and neighborhood pets since I was a child. This translated into Rover-ing as a young adult when I moved to a big city without any pets of my own. Now - settled in the Saratoga area with two cats of my own, I still love pet sitting more than ever! I am an avid walker and would love for a furry friend to join me, I’d love to check on your kitties as well! (Because they need love and playtime too!!) Comfortable with all ages. I currently do not have any pups of my own - so I adore giving love and play time to my rover dogs! My schedule is fairly flexible as I work 100% remote. I will always ensure our times line up. I can accommodate to others needs . I will respect any instructions or boundaries upon entering anyone’s home! Whatever makes the pet comfortable and gives the owners a good piece of mind!!

I have known Ariel for 13 years and can confidently say that she is a person of impeccable character. Ever since we first met, Ariel’s incredible friendliness and love of animals have always impressed me. Everyone who interacts with Ariel is always blown away by her selfless, kind, and warm-hearted nature. It is truly a privilege and an honor to be considered Ariel’s friend and I wholeheartedly recommend her for this job. I assure you that her high moral values and love of all things living are without question. I have no doubt she will make a strong addition to your dog caregiver team.”

“Alexis is such a loving person. She gives all our animals the same amount of care and love. Even the fish! She’s always ready to take long walks with the boys and playing in the yard. Or she’s chatting with our kitties and throwing their Pom Pom balls. 10/10 never want to lose that girl!”
